OFFICIAL STATMENT

The NorthernDavao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NORDECO) remains steadfast in its commitment to serveits Memebers-Consumers-Owners (MCOs) as mandated in Presidential Decree No. 269 despite the approval of House Bill 10554 for the Third and Final Reading on May 22, 2022 by the Senate.

NORDECO whoaw franchise is yet to expire in 2028 for the mainland ( and 2022 for the Island Garden City of Samal, shall continue to operate as the distribution utility under its franchise coverage area and shall continue to implement projects and programs to avoid unnecesary disruption of power supply and services in the provinces of Davao de Oro and Davao del Norte.

NORDECO ENERGIZES 15 HOUSEHOLD CONNECTIONS THROUGH SEP

Northern Davao Electric Cooperative (NORDECO) successfully energized a total of 15 household connections at Purok 2, Basak, Nabunturan, Davao de Oro under the Sitio Electrification Program (SEP) today, May 12,2022 with a total cost of PhP 1,039,608.87.

Present in the occasion are Hon. Danilo C. Cuevas, Brgy. Captain of Basak along with brgy. officials, Lynette Estanol, NCECCO Sitio/Purok Chairman, NORDECO personnel and residents.

Along with the energization program, induction of NCECCO Sitio/Purok Officers of Purok 2, Basak is also conducted headed by Engr. Jennifer Caspillo, System Planning & Design Division Chief.

ONLY IN THE ELECTRIC COOPERATIVES (ECs) just like NORDECO continue to provide electric service in remote areas. Way back in 1969, electric cooperatives started lighting up rural areas towards sustainable rural development as mandated by the National Government.

ECs are staunch partners of the National Government in nation building as its implementing arm through energization of the countryside.

On April 29, 2022, Sixteen (16) households out of 30 are lighted by NORDECO (Ang Bag-ong DANECO) in Purok 8, Sitio Sugod, Barangay Tuburan, Mawab, Davao de Oro under the Sitio Electrification Program (SEP) of the National Government. The line construction has a total project cost of PhP700,038.99.

During the Switch-On Ceremony, the oath taking of the officers organized in the sitio level under the Member Consumer Owner Program for Empowerment (MCOPE) was also conducted.

Present in the occasion were Brgy. Councilor Juan Barulo, Purok Chairman Bonito Cabuga, Tribe Leader Datu Pepito Pinang, GKK President Bebencio Mercado Jr., and NORDECO Area 2 Services Department Manager Demetrio L. Jagunos.

DAVAO DEL NORTE: NORDECO ENERGIZES 110 HOUSEHOLD CONNECTIONS THROUGH SEP

Northern Davao Electric Cooperative (NORDECO) successfully energized a total of 110 household connections at Purok 6, San Nicholas; Purok 8, Sta. Cruz and Purok 9 & 10, New Jagna in Kipalili, San Isidro, Davao del Norte under the Sitio Electrification Program (SEP) on April 23, 2022

For a total of 7.27 kilometers of line and a project cost of PhP7,246,949.79

Present in the occasion were Mayor Arnel H. Sitoy and Municipal Councilors, Brgy. Captain Cirilo Lamsen and Barangay Officials, and NORDECO Area 3 Manager, Engr. Nielo A. Japay

Trabahoon kini karon sa atong personahe aron mahibalik ang suplay sa kuryente sa mga apektadong lugar.

Apektadong lugar:

-Purok Madre Cacao ug Purok 9, Narra, Pindasan, Mabini, Davao de Oro

Busa giawhag ang publiko nga likayan ang pagtanom og mga kahoy o motag-as nga tanom duol sa linya sa kuryente, tres (3) metros pawala ug patuo gikan sa poste aron malikayan ang susamang panghitabo. Kini subay sa balaud nga Republic Act 11361, kon Anti-Obstruction of Power Lines Act.
