If the Dabawenyos would have their way, they would like to have three Dutertes running in the 2013 election. This sentiment was contained in a survey conducted alongside a survey on voters’ preference by the Social Weather Station (SWS) in relation to the coming election. Vice Mayor Duterte said the SWS survey had him and daughter Mayor Sara Duterte and son councilor Paolo Duterte winning against anybody in any position. Comelec sees peaceful Maguindanao elections

Maguindanao election supervisor Udtog Tago is hopeful the 2013 elections in his area would not be as “bloody” as it was in 2010. Even the filing of the certificate of candidacy (COC) in his office turned out peaceful. “Although there were fanfares during the COC filing, but at the end of the day, the activity turned out peaceful,” said Tago.
