Despite the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, 83% of Filipinos are hopeful that the worst is over with the COVID-19 pandemic based on the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

This is up from the 80% recorded in December 2021 and almost double of the 44% in May 2022. 

The number of those fearing that “the worst is yet to come” fell to 16% in April 2022 from December 2021’s 19%. Around 88% also expressed worry about contracting the disease.READ MORE
