SUPREME COURT JUNKS DQ CASES VS. MARCOS WITH 13-0 VOTE; CLEARS WAY FOR BONGBONG INAUGURATION

Supreme Court justices chalked up 13 votes against a lone nay vote, to throw away two consolidated cases —disqualification and cancellation of certificate of candidacy (COC) — against president-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

The 13-0 vote, less the votes of 2 justices who did not participate in the voting held during an en banc session Tuesday, June 28, clears any obstacle to Marcos’ inauguration on Thursday, June 30. READ MORE
