PDP-Laban eyes holding joint rallies with UniTeam

 The Partido Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) faction led by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi is eyeing to hold joint rallies with the UniTeam alliance of presidential candidate former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte, an official said on Thursday night.

PDP-Laban Secretary-General Melvin Matibag said there is also a “chance” that President Rodrigo Duterte would attend the upcoming joint rallies.

The PDP-Laban earlier endorsed Marcos’ presidential candidacy and Mayor Duterte’s bid for the vice presidency.

President Duterte is endorsing his daughter’s vice presidential bid.

However, he has decided not to endorse any presidential candidate to avoid speculation that he will use public funds to campaign for his preferred successo
