Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa on Saturday said he fully support the flagship “peace and order” programs of Santo Tomas Mayor Ernesto Evangelista including the war on illegal drugs, corruption, and fight against the insurgency, criminality.
Good luck po, Tatay Erning. Amping diha…,” Dela Rosa said in a 23-second video sent to Mayor Ernesto Evangelista himself.
Dela Rosa, a former police chief, was the implementer of Duterte administration’s flagship campaign against illegal drugs.
In response, Evangelista thanked the good senator for praising his various peace and order campaigns and advocacies bannered under his administration’s “Aksyon Ang Solusyon” program.
Evangelista , Dela Rosa and President Duterte were partymates under the ruling party Partido Demokratiko ng Pilipinas-Lakas ng Bayan( PDP-Laban) last May 9, 2019 general elections.
Evangelista then recalled that he met Dela Rosa back in 2019 in Davao in one of PDP-Laban’s gathering where he gave an update about the government’s anti-illegal drug campaign.
He added that he would further strengthen his war on criminals, illegal drugs, corruption, insurgency as the people of Santo Tomas deserve to live a comfortable, safe, and a peaceful life.
Evangelista is in Manila as of press time for an official business. Part of his itinerary is to meet PDEA Director General Wilkins M Villanueva to discuss the Santo Tomas LGU’s CBRAP Program and other matters relative to his administration’s campaign on illegal drugs.
