FORMER senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero topped the February 2022 National Election Tracker Survey of Publicus Asia.

Behind Escudero are Alan Peter Cayetano, and incumbent senator Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian.

Forty four percent said they would support Cayetano; and 40 percent said they would vote for Gatchalian.

They were followed by broadcaster Raffy Tulfo (37 percent), former Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar (35 percent), Sen. Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri (35 percent), former senator and Antique Rep. Loren Legarda (34 percent), and Sen. Ana Theresia “Risa” Hontiveros (31 percent).

In the ninth to 12th spots were : veteran rights lawyer Jose Manuel “Chel” Diokno (26 percent), Sen. Emmanuel Joel Villanueva (26 percent), Sen. Richard “Dick” Gordon (25 percent), former Defense chief Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro (24 percent), actor Robin Padilla (23 percent), former senator Jose Victor “JV” Ejercito (22 percent), former Quezon City mayor Herbert “Bistek” Bautista (22 percent), former vice president Jejomar “Jojo” Binay (22 percent), lawyer Lorenzo “Larry” Gadon (21 percent), former Information and Communications Technology secretary Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan 2nd (20 percent), former senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada (20 percent), and former Palace spokesman lawyer Harry Roque Jr. (18 percent).
