DAVAO CITY HAS TOPPED THE LIST OF SEVEN HIGHLY URBANIZED CITIES WITH HIGH GROWTH RATES.

According to OCTA Research fellow Guido David, Davao City led the list of cities with fast-rising Covid-19 cases that included Baguio City, Iloilo City, Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Tacloban City and Cagayan de Oro.

Based on the OCTA data, Davao City posted 299 percent growth rate, Baguio City posted 137 percent; Iloilo City, 208 percent; Cebu City, 254 percent; Lapu-Lapu City, 96 percent; Tacloban, 142 percent; ; and Cagayan de Oro, 236 percent.
