A total of 51 people were killed in Mindanao and the Visayas by Typhoon Odette, said the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Saturday, December 18.
Odette was one of the deadliest tropical cyclones to hit the Philippines this year.
The ssupertyphoon caused severe damage in three land falls in parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
Odette first landed in Siargao Island on onWednesday and exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 12:40 pm on Saturday.
