The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Tropical Storm Dante (Choi-wan) could make landfall in Eastern Samar between Tuesday evening, June 1, and Wednesday morning, June 2
Pagasa said in its 5 am bulletin on Tuesday that Dante was located 310 kilometers east of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, or 380 kilometers east of Maasin City, Southern Leyte.
Signal No. 2 was raised for Samar Island, which is divided into the three provinces of Eastern Samar, Samar, and Northern Samar, said the weather bureau.
