The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered the conduct of clinical trials for the use of the controversial drug Ivermectin to treat Covid-19 infections.
FDA director-general Eric Domingo on Tuesday said the President ordered the trials in a televised briefing, a day after the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) announced that it was preparing to conduct trials for the anti-parasitic drug.
