Typhoon Bising is forecast to be 885 km. east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur by Friday morning and 600 km. east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar by Saturday morning.
Several regions on the path of the coming typhoon raised the Blue Alert on Thursday to brace for Typhoon Bising , once it enters the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).
Under Blue Alert, all assets are on standby and ready for deployment once needed. It comes next to Red Alert when assets, such as individuals and equipment, are deployed.
As of 10 a.m., Thursday, Typhoon Bising was estimated at 1,095 km. east of Mindanao outside PAR, packing maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 115 kph.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said it is moving westward at 10 kph and would be 450 km. east of Juban, Sorsogon by Monday.
