NEW COVID-19 CASES DIVE TO 6,128 AFTER RECORD-HIGH DAILY TALLIES OF 9,000plus

 The Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday  reported 6,128 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, a big, inspiring dip after five straight days of record-breaking figures that breached the 9,000plus mark.

Yesterday, DOH reported 9,296 additional Covid-19 infections on March 30, the fifth straight day that DOH listed over 9,000 new cases of victims of the coronavirus.The number surpassed the 9,000-mark in the last four days: March 29 (10,016), March 28 (9,475), March 27(9,595), and March 26 (9,838).

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippinesis now 747,288

The March 31 tally brought the total number of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) active cases to 130,245.

The DOH listed the total number of recoveries at 603,746.

The health agency also logged 106 more deaths on Wednesday, pushing the death toll to 13,297.
