Senator Francis “Kiko” angilinan, president of the opposition Liberal Part (LP), said that Vice President Len iRobredo is not running for president in 2022.
Pangilinan, in a media briefing on Thursday, said that Robredo bared her political plans in an interview on ABS-CBN Teleradyo in November 2020, wherein the vice president, the chair of the LP, said that she has no plans to run for the presidency.
If Robredo takes a crack at the presidency, she could be facing in the race, Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte, if the presidential daughter decides to run and succeed his father, President Rodrigo Duterte, whose term expires in 2022.

INDAY SARA LEADS PULSE ASIA SURVEY FOR PRESIDENT IN 2022 POLLS
Ahead of the May election in 2022, Robredo has already been predicted as a loser in a survey on presidential preference conducted by Pulse Asia. In the survey, Robredo got a measly 8 percent against Inday Sara’s 86 percent.
Despite Robredo saying she has no plans to run for the top Malacanang post, Pangilinan said Robredo is among the potential candidates being considered by the LP to become its standard bearer in the 2022 elections.
She is a high official of the party and is also the highest elected official of the party. So she is also being considered,” Pangilinan said.

Malacanang chief legal counsel Salvador Panelo thinks Robredo is running for president in 2022.
It is“obvious that Robredo wants to succeed Duterte when the latter steps down from office in 2022, Panelo said.
He said that Robredo is trying to be politically relevant by criticizing the government because of her apparent motive to run for president in the 2022 elections.
But like the Pulse Asia survey, Panelo in his own rating game gave Robredo a sounding defeat in the hands of Inday Sara if the two women clash horns in the 2022 presidential elections (ROGER M. BALANZA)
