“The elections are still a long way away so we do not really pay much mind to these early survey results.”
This statement was issued by the camp of Vice President Leni Robredo, who was badly clobbered by Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte in results of a recent survey on presidential preference for the 2022 elections by pollster Pulse Asia.

Robredo leads the political opposition Liberal Party. The young Duterte, daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte, heads the Davao Region-based regional party Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HnP).
“Right now, the VP is still focused on working to help our fellow Filipinos get past of the crisis of COVID-1, and recover from the calamities of the past few months,” said Robredo’s spokesman Barry Gutierrez.
