Marawi’s permanent shelters set for completion next year

The Social Housing and Financing Corporation (SHFC) vowed to immediately start the construction and site development works in Barangay Dulay Proper,  where 40 lots will be available for house construction by the end of the month, and another 80 lots will be available by November this year.

The construction of permanent houses for internally displaced individuals (IDPs) will be completed by March 2021, Marawi City Mayor Majul Gandamra said Monday.

Site development has been plagued by multiple claims and other ownership issues, although Gamdamra assured that the problems hounding the construction of permanent houses have already been resolved. READ MORE
