Leslie Corporation, the company behind the popular ‘Minute Burger’ outlets that have become a fixture in street corners, has inaugurated its state-of-the-art commissary plant in Maa, Davao City.
This is in preparation for our full expansion in the next three years in Mindanao, said the company in a brochure during the opening of the plant on November 11, 2011 graced by Mayor Sara Duterte.
While the company traces its origin to Makati as a snack food manufacturer in 1971, it is a corporate citizen that has been operating in Davao City since 1984, with a plant in R. Castillo producing banana chips  under Natural Foods Corporation and then in Maa under Pacific Fruit Processors.
In 1994, it brought its Minute Burger stores, then already gaining wide popularity in Manila, to Davao City, with then Mayor now Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte gracing the opening of the first four stores.
With its hundreds of outlets, Minute Burger has made Leslie the leading burger chain in the country today.
