ADMINISTRATION CRITICS BEHIND SURVEYS
Davao City Congressman Prospero Nograles said poll surveys showing poor showing for President Arroyo could have been commissioned by critics of the administration.
These pulse survey firms should bare to the public who commissioned them to conduct the surveys, said Nograles, former House majority leader and a close ally of the president.
He made the call in wake of surveys showing negative performance ratings for President Arroyo, who has been mired in recent graft scandals.
Nograles lamented the survey results appear to create an image of a non-performing President. As if the President has not done anything good to the public, he said.
For the sake of transparency, the firms should bare who commissioned them so that people would know who provided the funds.
A recent survey showed President Arroyo as the country’s most corrupt president, which Nograles said could have been engineered by critics of the administration.
